About Us

More Than a Studio. A Place to Belong.

Ascent Pilates was created by three women who believe in the power of uplifting others.

Our logo, three mountain peaks, represents each of us, but more importantly, it represents the strength that comes from women supporting women. We built Ascent on that foundation: connection, encouragement, and showing up for one another.

Why We Created Ascent

We fell in love with reformer Pilates because of how it makes you feel, not just physically stronger, but more confident, more connected, and more capable in your own body.

But we also knew something was missing.

Too many people walk into fitness spaces and feel intimidated, overlooked, or like just another number.

We wanted something different.

We wanted a place where you are seen.
Where you are supported.
Where you feel like you belong the moment you walk in.

What Makes Ascent Different

At Ascent, you are not just another spot in the class.

You are a person we know by name.
A story we care about.
A part of this community.

We’ve intentionally created a space that feels:

  • Welcoming, not intimidating
  • Encouraging, not competitive
  • Supportive, not judgmental

Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, you’ll be guided, supported, and challenged in a way that feels empowering, not overwhelming.

Our Approach

We are a reformer-only studio because we believe in the power of intentional, focused movement.

Our classes are designed to:

  • Build strength
  • Improve mobility
  • Support long-term wellness
  • Help you feel confident in your body

But more than anything, we want you to leave feeling better than when you walked

Our Promise

We promise to create a space where:

  • You can come as you are
  • You feel safe and supported
  • You are encouraged to grow at your own pace
  • You feel like you are part of something

Because fitness shouldn’t feel like pressure.

It should feel like coming home.

Meet The Founders

Three Women. One Vision.

Becca Davies

Jen Paxman

Jen is the co-founder of Ascent Pilates and a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to helping women feel strong, confident, and supported in every season of life. She is a wife and mom to three amazing kids.
As the owner of multiple businesses in the wellness space, Jen has built her career around one core belief: when women feel good in their bodies, everything changes. She is also a wife and mom to three amazing kids, and understands firsthand how easy it is for women to put themselves last.
After undergoing multiple surgeries, Jen discovered the power of reformer Pilates as a low-impact way to build strength, improve mobility, and support the body through recovery. What started as a personal journey became a deeper vision. Jen created Ascent to be more than a studio—a place where women feel seen, supported, and truly at home.
